AngkorHUB Is the Coolest Place to Cowork in Siem Reap

AngkorHUB is in the center of Siem Reap, offering the best conditions for remote work in the town. With 150-Mbps internet, air conditioning, and 24/7 access for premium members, you will hardly want to go anywhere else to work.
We love that AngkorHUB thought of everything. Since power outages in Siem Reap are fairly common, this coworking space has a backup generator and 4G Internet, so you will always be online. Food and coffee are free for members, and you can have both breakfast and lunch here. There are ergonomic chairs, but not many, so you should come early after opening to grab a comfortable seat.
The outdoor terrace is a great alternative space for work, with coconut and banana trees giving you shade. If you want to lie down and take a break, there are several hammocks and beanbags intended for that. A tabby named Tyler is always there snoozing or purring, and you can bring your cat or pooch with you, too.

Garage Society Siem Reap Is the Least Comfortable Place to Cowork in Siem Reap

Garage Society Siem Reap is a modernly designed coworking space in the center of Siem Reap, not far from the airport and touristy Pub Street. While this place looked promising on the Internet, spending time here paints a slightly less positive picture.
The chairs are horrible. They are far from the cheap plastic ones you can get at your local flea market but are still uncomfortable, and many don’t have cushions. We were able to sit a short while and then decided to work at the standing desk, but there wasn’t any room. Other than this, you have many other tech amenities, like a projector, scanner, and printer.
This may not be a great space for coworking but is ideal for impressing clients. Creative corners are great for brainstorming or meetings, with colorful beanbags and couches. If anything, the on-site swimming pool is perfect for cooling off, especially if you come to Siem Reap during the hot season (March to May).

BioLAB Coffee & Office is a relaxed coworking space also serving premium coffee beverages. This is a well-organized space with two meeting rooms equipped with ergonomic chairs.
Other chairs in this coworking space are not particularly comfortable, but you can use seating booths in the lounge area. The only standing desk in BioLAB is always occupied with people waiting in line to use it. If you like to work outside, you’ll be glad to hear that this coworking space has two balconies with potted plants and artificial grass for flooring. BioLAB also has personal lockers, so you don’t have to worry about your things if you want to eat a cake at their café.
Footprint Cafes Hub in Sangkat Salakamreuk

Footprint Cafes Hub is a coworking space and a nice little café in one. The coworking space is upstairs, although members can also work from the café downstairs if they don’t mind the noise.
This place often hosts workshops and events, so you may have to choose another spot to work from if you want to avoid the crowd. If you want to host your own get together with potential partners or clients, Footprint provides a microphone, printer, and video recording equipment besides the standard amenities (scanner and printer). Since it only has wooden chairs and desks, don’t expect to be overly comfortable working here. Their menu covers anyone’s food preferences with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free meals.
Common Grounds Café in Sangkat Svay Dangkum
is a good alternative for those who want to avoid coworking space, offering decent Wi-Fi and good food. This is a great option if you want to work on a Sunday since coworking spaces are closed then. This is a popular spot for digital nomads, so you can even do some networking over excellent coffee.
Since Common Grounds Café doesn’t have ergonomic furniture, it’s best to come prepared. We brought this travel stand desk with us and took a seat upstairs, so it was as though we had a private office.
The Little Red Fox Espresso in Kandal Village

The Little Red Fox Espresso is a charming café located in Kandal Village — a neighborhood full of artisan shops. It has two air-conditioned floors and a small terrace overlooking the street.
This café has high-quality Wi-Fi that didn’t falter even once during the time we spent there. If you don’t mind light music while you work, you will like it here. The walls have artwork from local artists, and the carrot cake is fantastic. When it comes to coffee, this may be among Siem Reap’s finest, so stop by the Little Red Fox Espresso even when you are off the clock.
The Hive Siem Reap in Sangkat Svay Dangkum

The Hive Siem Reap is a cozy café in Siem Reap, quiet enough for work. It has a large downstairs area and a somewhat smaller one upstairs, with semi-comfortable wooden furniture.
We came here only to grab breakfast since a lot of people recommended the food, but ended up working here instead. They serve an impressive variety of cakes and coffees, with vegan and vegetarian options as well. The staff was friendly and made sure we were comfortable while working there. Suffice it to say that we were never out of the water at the table.
